Spring Storytime Registration Begins March 1
Portage
County District Library is pleased to announce that spring storytime and
program registration begins Monday, March 1 at branch libraries. Online

EPUB eBooks Now Available in Downloadable Format
Portage County District Library has expanded its download collection with the addition of EPUB eBooks. From the comfort of home, Portage County District Library card holders can now browse the collection, check out, and download eBooks as well as audiobooks anytime, anywhere. Available titles are all compatible with most eBook readers. Portage County District Library’s opening collection features Alice Sebold’s The Lovely Bones, Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol, and Patricia Cornwell’s The Scarpetta Factor among others. Just added to the collection: Stephenie Meyer’s runaway success, the Twilight Saga series. Download free software and get started today. Also, there’s a new feature on the OverDrive website. You can now share your own reviews using popular social networking websites Facebook and Twitter.
Downloadable Audiobooks & eBooks
Portage
County District Library invites library users to "checkout" its
downloadable audiobook and
eBook collection. The
initial eBook collection features titles on career and job searching and
personal finance. All that is required to access the eBook
collection is the installation of
free Adobe Digital Editions software (here are
step-by-step instructions for software download, if needed) and a
Portage County District Library card. Read titles on your PC,
