Free nutrition classes for adults who care for children are being offered at the Pierce Streetsboro Library beginning Tuesday, January 16 for six weeks. All classes are taught by the Ohio State University Extension and will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesdays on the following dates:
January 15: Get Moving- Learn about "My Plate" and physical activity.
January 22: Plan, Shop, Save- Plan for meals that are healthy and within your budget.
January 29: Fruits and Veggies
February 12: Make Half Your Grains Whole
February 19: Build Strong Bones and Go Lean with Protein
February 26: Make a Change and Celebrate- Limit foods high in fat, sugar, and salt.
All participants receive class materials and incentives. Participants who attend all six classes will receive a certificate of completion.

The Library is located at 8990 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro OH 44241. The Library is open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Library is closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
